Music Moor

In Clubmoor we want to connect and bring people together through teaching, learning and performing different forms of music, spoken word and poetry across Clubmoor. Residents celebrating, increasing confidence and wellbeing with more artists collaborating.

We currently run a range of themed events throughout the year. We use a bank of local musicians to perform at these. If you are interested in joining our musical community. Please contact us at [email protected].

Ability Drums

Ability Drums is a free one to one drum tuition classes based in the Clubmoor area. Ability drums was set up by Kev Mckay and Daniel Ryder who approached us at MyClubmoor with an idea to teach locals drums for free as it was something unheard of across the City. They were successful in receiving a grant from us which funded the initial equipment and set up of the company.

Hanging Mic Night Sessions

Open Mic performance evenings for musicians, poets, writers and other creatives. An opportunity to perform and share work. Keep an eye on our event pages for further details.

"Good teachers, follow a format so learning is steady and guaranteed. Very encouraging, always adding in new ideas very quickly, therefore ability develops rapidly."
