Be More Dog

A range of activities aimed at promoting responsible dog ownership and create healthier dogs in the Clubmoor ward. When we started initially talking to our community in the early days of the project, a repeated problem that came up in all consultation was the problem of dog mess and bags not being disposed of appropriately . Our Dog show aims to promote better behaviours around dog ownership and create a healthier environment for all.

MyClubmoor Dog Show

Our annual spectacular to bring the community together to learn about Dogs and a day to showcase and celebrate their beloved pets. This includes our community dog awards such as waggiest tale, best veteran, best trick and many more. Local dog related business’ can have a free stall in exchange for donating a item towards our Best in Show winners hamper. The event also includes a range of children’s crafts and activities to make the day filled with fun for everyone.

Community Dog Walkers Club

The establishment of a local dog walkers group making use of our luscious local green spaces.

Be More Dog Campaign

Social media / behavioural work with local people on dog fouling initiatives and responsible dog ownership.

Park refurbishments

Working with Liverpool City Council and partners to improve the local facilities for Dog owners.

Develop More Spaces
Using what we’ve learned at the MyClubmoor Community Hub, 56 Maiden Lane we want to repeat the creative development process in other spaces within our community.

City Conversation Research Project
'City Conversation in Clubmoor’ research project began to get a better understanding of local issues, and of how local services can better reflect – not only the priorities of our residents – but also the knowledge, the passion and the resourcefulness that we have here in the community.
